Ancient Hindu and Buddhist texts tell us that the 7 Chakras are the energy centers in our body through which energy flows. Blocked energy in our 7 Chakras can often lead to illness so it's important to understand what each Chakra represents and what we can do to keep this energy flowing freely.

The 7 chakras are from top to bottom; The Crown Chakra which controls spirtuality, The Third Eye Chakra which controls spirtual awakening, The Throat Chakra which is the seat of communication and self expression, The Heart Chakra which is the seat of Love and Compassion, The Solar Plexus Chakra which is seat of Physical Power and Emotion, The Sacral Chakra which is the seat of the Self and building connections to others and lastly the Root Chakra which is the seat of the animal self and the the body processes which ensure survival.

To be a healthy person its is important that the Chakras remain balanced.

These beautiful Chakra Prayer flags have been screen printed with the seven sacred chakra symbols and a life affirming mantra in wonderfully bright and vibrant colours. The flags have a wonderful silken texture to them and a finely detailed print.  

They are beautiful in their own right as colourful bunting but they also possess a deeper connotation for the spiritually minded.

Each flag measures 205 mm by 150 mm and the string is 1300 mm long approx.  We recommend hand washing in cold water to maintain the vivid colours.
