Our lovely bright handloom shoulder bags have just arrived from our producers in the North of Thailand.
They are the perfect size for going out in the evening or at the weekend or when you want to travel light.
We are on a mission to save this beautiful handloom cotton from dying out by establishing a market for this beautiful work, to this end we went out and met some of the ladies who sit at home handlooming cotton in the traditional style, in their villages high up in the Golden Triangle, we came back with a great selection of Hill Tribe Embroidery and handloom cotton.
The outside is soft handwearing handloomed cotton and it is lined with black cotton for strength. The bag closes by pulling the wooden beads and opens by pulling the colourful pom poms.
Our bags measure 25 cm by 25 cm and have a 124 cm strap.
