Our handcarved Silver Buddha Masks are handcarved for us by our master craftsmen in Bali.
Only the best and most experienced carvers are allowed to carve a Buddha, each detail is highly symbolic and carving a Buddha is an act of devotion as Bali is an intriging mix of Buddhism and Hinduism.
Balinese Buddhas have a round peaceful face and give your home an air of Serenity.
Our Buddha Masks are carved from a single piece of sustainably grown albesia wood. Albesia wood is an incredible resource, in the tropics trees can grow to a height of 70 ft and a girth of 3 ft within 4 years of germination. The mask is then painted with several layers of silver paint and finally our masks are finished off with a few little round mirrors.
Our Silver Buddha Masks measure 40 cm by 25 cm. As each is hand carved dimensions will vary slightly.
