Our lovely authentic Moroccan tea sets are handmade by one of our fair trade producers, based in the exotic medina of Marrakesh, on the edge of the great Sahara Desert.  They are perfect for drinking sweet Morrocan tea in the garden or in fact any tea, it’s most refeshing!

Our tea sets consist of a traditional silver colour teapot . four handmade glasses in the choice of white or clear glass and a matching silver colour tray.  The teapot holds enough tea for four glasses plus a bit more, so enough for everybody!

To make the perfect tea mint we recommend adding a heaped teaspoon of green tea, a couple of generous sprigs of fresh mint to the empty pot.  Then add boiling water and a little sugar to taste and allow to brew for 3- 5 minutes.  My Moroccan friends then pour the tea by starting with the tea pot just above the glasses and rasing the teapot as they pour.  Apparently this aerates the tea and makes it taste better! 

The teapot is 15 cm tall by 17 cm wide, the glasses are 8 cm tall with a diameter of 5 cm and the tray has a diameter of 25 cm.  The tea pot is of traditional metal construction so it can be used on the hob if required but being metal it does get hot so please be careful when handling and when pouring the tea.
