The origins of yoga have been speculated to date back to pre-Vedic traditions, but most likely developed around the sixth and fifth centuries BCE, in ancient India's ascetic movements. In recent years Yoga has become very popular in the West as an antidote to our frenetic way of life, it gives us a chance to stop, relax and focus on our bodies.

Yoga is more than physical exercise, it has a spiritual and meditative core, which is why it is so powerful.
