Bells and dorjes (or vajras) are sacred ritual implements used in Tibetan Buddhist practices for their symbolic significance and spiritual efficacy. The bell, known as the "ghanta," represents the feminine principle of wisdom and compassion, while the dorje symbolizes the masculine principle of skillful means and enlightenment. Together, they embody the union of wisdom and compassion, the essential qualities on the path to enlightenment.

In Tibetan Buddhist practice, the bell and dorje are often used together in ritual ceremonies, meditation practices, and tantric rituals. The bell is held in the left hand, representing wisdom, while the dorje is held in the right hand, representing method. When struck together, the bell and dorje produce a harmonious sound that is believed to invoke the presence of enlightened beings and purify the environment.

Furthermore, the bell and dorje are used in tantric rituals to symbolize the union of wisdom and method within the practitioner's own mind. The bell's sound is said to dispel ignorance and delusion, while the dorje's indestructible nature represents the unshakeable realization of enlightenment.

Our Bell and Dorje Sets are completely authentic, they are hand cast from a special traditional alloy by a family of temple bell makers living in the shadow of the great Boudha Stupa in Kathmandu.

We have two sizes of Bell & Dorje Sets;

Our large size bell has a loud deep pitch ring and measures 15 cm ( 6") high and 8.5 cm ( 3.25") in diameter, the Dorje measures 11 cm ( 4.5 ") long and 4 cm ( 1.5") in diameter.

Our small size bell has a loud higher pitch ring and measures 12 cm ( 4.75") high and 6 cm ( 2.4") in diameter, the Dorje measures 11 cm ( 4.5 ") long and 4 cm ( 1.5") in diameter.
