Our Kantha jackets are perfect for the summer, just the perfect weight to stop you getting a chill when the sun goes down.

Kantha work is a traditional embroidery technique originating from the Bengal region of India and Bangladesh. It involves simple, running stitches that create intricate, textured patterns on layers of recycled fabrics, often old saris. Originally used to make quilts, Kantha work now adorns various items such as clothing, accessories, and home decor.

We have repurposed the Kantha technique to make these beautiful high quality cotton jackets with vibrant contemporary prints.

Our beautiful summer weight Kantha Jackets are made for us by our fair trade producers in Rajasthan in India.  We have many designs but only a few in each design and when it's gone, its gone!

We also have some mid weight Kantha Jackets if you would like a warmer Autumn / Spring weight jacket.

Our jackets are secured by a tie at the front and have two useful pockets.  

They come in two sizes, S/M is a UK size 8 /10 /12 ( US size 4 /6 /8) & L/XL is a UK size 14 /16 /18 ( US size 10 /12 /14 )

100% cotton.  We recommend washing by hand or on a delicate 40 degree machine wash ( although this may adversely affect the wooden bead on the tie)
